7、, andin the course of his speech gave utterance to many noble thoughts andthrilling reflections. As soon as he had taken his seat, filled with hopeand admiration, I rose, and declared that PATRICK HENRY, ofrevolutionary

8、 fame, never made a speech more eloquent in the cause ofliberty, than the one we had just listened to from the lips of that huntedfugitive. So I believed at that time--such is my belief now. I remindedthe audience of t

9、he peril which surrounded this self- emancipated youngman at the North,--even in Mas- sachusetts, on the soil of the PilgrimFathers, among the descendants of revolutionary sires; and I ap- pealed tothem, whether they wou
